Many of you have been waiting for some consistent warm weather here in WNC, and it appears that we will get it this week! Models indicate that temperatures should rise into the low 80’s on several afternoons this week with high pressure dominating above. So break out those shorts and T-shirts because you will need them on Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday. Of course though this beautiful weather does not stick around too long, and clouds will build to end the week. A scattered shower or two cannot be ruled out on Friday, and a higher chance for rainfall exists moving into the latter part of next weekend.

Scattered Showers Possible Friday

If you need to get things done outside this week, Monday thru Thursday will be the best days to get the job done. Friday, the chance for showers will increase around the area as a weaker system move through the area. The European model also indicates another round of showers to be possible late next weekend, but other models take a more northern track with that precipitation. Enjoy this week though, it should be beautiful around WNC!
